Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park is one of Tanzania’s most scenic and diverse protected areas, known for its combination of mountain landscapes, forests, lakes, waterfalls, and unique safari activities. Although smaller than many other national parks in Tanzania, it offers a highly varied experience that blends wildlife viewing with adventure and nature exploration.
The park is dominated by the presence of Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest mountain, which creates dramatic scenery throughout the ecosystem. Unlike parks focused primarily on large predator populations, Arusha National Park emphasizes landscape diversity, walking safaris, canoeing, and close interaction with nature.
Its proximity to Arusha city makes it one of the most accessible safari destinations in northern Tanzania.
