Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous safari destinations in the world and the centerpiece of Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Known for its endless plains, massive wildlife populations, and the world-renowned Great Migration, the park represents one of Africa’s most complete natural ecosystems.
The name “Serengeti” originates from the Maasai word Siringet, meaning “endless plains,” a description that perfectly reflects the park’s vast open landscapes. The ecosystem supports millions of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, predators, and hundreds of bird species throughout the year.
Serengeti is recognized globally for its natural wildlife movement systems, where animals migrate seasonally in search of grazing and water. This movement creates one of the most dramatic wildlife spectacles on Earth.
