Early in the morning, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled bush flight to Nyerere National Park. The flight offers spectacular aerial views across Tanzania’s coastline, rivers, forests, and remote wilderness landscapes before landing inside the safari ecosystem.

Upon arrival, your professional safari guide will welcome you and begin your first game drive through the vast plains and woodland habitats of Nyerere. Later in the day, enjoy a boat safari along the Rufiji River, one of the most unique safari activities in Tanzania. The river environment allows close observation of hippos, crocodiles, water birds, elephants, and wildlife gathering along the shoreline to drink.
